Nearly 7 days ago I had a 2nd pituitary surgery, which only had an outcome of getting 70% of the remaining tumor BUT GOD! The whole tumor was removed and there have been no unexpected surgical complications.

I’m still in recovery and there are ways to go before I’m medically cured BUT GLORY!! Typing this part of my testimony really doesn’t explain 😩

but the same God by The Holy Spirit that prompted me to ask for bloodwork in January 2019 (because I felt something was wrong)

is the same God that opened doors for treatment at MD Anderson while I was still in grad school and answered my prayer for the best (literally my one of my doctors was Dr. Best)

is the same God that brought me through the 1st surgery in August 2019 #mdanderson

is the same God that empowered to finish my dissertation 4 months later in Feb 2020 (right before my 30th birthday and COVID shutdowns)

is the same God the provided job opportunities and provisions to care for my medical needs all these years

is the same God that didn’t just do but did exceedingly, abundantly in that time. He worked my character and I developed disciplines to pay off student debt 100%, car paid off, and more recently becoming a homeowner.

is the same God that brought people to help and support me… most didn’t even know the medical side or probably assumed I was just fine. Nevertheless, they were just kind and obedient to reach out for a meal or chat or graciously accept my decline without extended explanation.

is the same God that opened my mind and heart up to a 2nd surgery with hope for success #emoryhealthcare

is the same God whose supernatural peace has kept my mind and spirit, period!!

That same God, My God who began a good work in me is faithful to complete it! For those in a similar position, keep walking with the Lord. I know I wanted an instant miracle when I was first diagnosed and for whatever reason, here am I but I AM HERE.

And because I am still here, there is still more for me to do. ❤️
